Villa Da Vinci Retirement Residence

I moved my grandmother into the center in April 2020. She unfortunately passed away two months later due to long term health complications she had most of her life. This retirement residence was extremely accommodating to the ever changing health situation of my grandmother. Additionally I feel they protected their staff and residence extremely well during the height of the pandemic. My grandmother's only complaint during her short stay was that they fed her too much which is high praise from her. The care support staff from an independent source (not provided by the site but through the local LHIN) which assisted my grandmother who was on palliative care also made note to tell me this is one of the good retirement residences and that this was a great place to have her at. I have recommended and will continually recommend this location to all my friends, colleagues or acquaintances who may be looking to support their elderly loved ones.

Very nice people and staff. My father has been a resident for almost 2 years and it's so nice see him happy. He had a stroke years ago and is hard for him to communicate, they are very patient and take great care of him, a big shout out to Sandy, who has gone out of her way to make sure his needs are always met. Can't put a.price on that kind of peace of mind.

I want to start off by saying that unfortunately my loved one didn't make it to live at this residence but I definitely hoped he would have. From the beginning Susy was so caring, understanding and knowledgeable. She was readily available and my family and I never felt like she was being a pushy salesperson, I could tell she was genuine. While dad was in the hospital she was always checking in and guiding us to ask the right questions. We didn't come for a physical tour due to covid restrictions, however Susy did an amazing virtual tour and made all of us feel comfortable and at ease. Although dad didn't make it I felt that It was important to share my experience. First impressions say a lot about a place, and Susy left an everlasting one on me and my family. Definitely recommend checking them out!

My husband's aunt moved into this home in January and has seen a dramatic change for the better. She is happy and has an excellent engaging routine each day. She enjoys speaking to friends and going to the special events that are organized by the staff. She exercises daily and eats great food. She requires support from staff on a regular basis and they have been wonderful. Also, during this Covid-19 crisis, the communication has been outstanding. Families feel comfortable asking questions and are kept apprised of how the situation is evolving in the home. Thank you for your hard work throughout this difficult time.
