Had an amazing experience and service from Langstaff and Sloan. I needed to install a number of light fixtures and dimmer switches in my home, as well as install a fixture where one didn't currently exist. I am somewhat new to the neighbourhood and did not know which electricians in the area would provide a reliable service. But, lo and behold, Langstaff and Sloan, which my grandparents used back in '92/'93 happened to be nearby. Nearly 30 years later, they're still around, so I assumed that was a good sign... it was! The electrician who came to my place was so kind and knowledgeable, he spent a long time here making sure everything he did was just perfect, and as this all happened during the middle of the pandemic, he wore his mask the whole time and was very hygienic… he didn't even complain that my windows were open to the cold outdoors the whole time he was here. A few days after he left, I noticed that my one of my lights was flickering. I called back and everyone at Langstaff and Sloan helped me get to the bottom of the issue (essentially my bulbs met all the requirements for the light/dimmer but weren't fully compatible). A second electrician spared some free time and came over to help me figure it all out, didn't leave until we were absolutely sure this was the issue. I'd highly recommend Langstaff and Sloan for their service, care and attention to detail. Will be using them again in the coming months when my final fixture arrives!

I called Langstaff and Sloan to request further information with regards to having an electrical outlet replaced as well as dimmer switches installed. I was directly connected with Rob who was very informative and provided additional advice as to how to maximize the use of his electricians time since I was going to be charged for one hour of labour regardless of how quickly the jobs were done. Peter came out the same day and was extremely efficient and professional in completing the work. I asked Peter additional questions about possible jobs I would like to have done in the future to which he was able to provide further insight. I would highly recommend calling Langstaff and Sloan for your next Electrical need, as I certainly will be doing in the near future. 5 Stars!!

Dear Langstaff & Sloan Inc From Laura to Rob, other Rob, Charlie, Steve, Brad, Collin and if I'm missing anyone else! Wow. I am impressed and amazed by the job well done. Truly was seamless as I love it! Gratefully, Hydro came by on time and everyone got to work immediately. It worked out so well. The job was reasonably priced especially for the work that needed to be done. I had felt hopeless and didn't know who or where to turn to. Thinking that I would never have this issue fixed. Now it's all great. Brilliant! From the moment I spoke to Laura to meeting Rob, then the day came for the work to be done. We wouldn't have been able to do this all ourselves and I'm grateful for them that they just got to it! Thank you very much for everything! It truly means the world that we're not living in a fire hazard anymore and that I can actually use my treadmill without hassle. AMAZING. We did have to fix our hot water in the end which is kind of frustrating but that's a fix we need to take care of. TLDR: Fantastic guys. Hard working individuals that deserve phrase! Rob was very quick to schedule an appointment for the very next day. Phil was on time and installed 5 light fixtures. He was efficient and tidy. He even helped get rid of the old fixtures along with the boxes. I never quite needed an electrician before but I now have my go to. Thanks again guys!
