We had a small job, but Mike was responsive just the same. He gave us a competitive quote, came when he said he would, and did an excellent job. I'd certainly recommend him.

I live in a fairly old house. I asked Mike Browne of Brownes Contracting for a quote after seeing the brick replacement and tuck pointing work he had done on my neighbour's house. I met with him the next day and I liked that he explained in detail exactly what he will do to grind down and clean out the old mortar joint before putting in the new mortar for the tuck pointing. We went around the house to discuss the amount of tuck pointing, brick replacement and parging work that is needed before he quoted me a fair price. I am pleased with Mike's attention to detail in his work. He blended in the new mortar with the old one. I have a ''stepladder'' crack in the mortar joints above one of the windows which he repaired seamlessly. I recommend Brownes Contracting for their quality work.

I phoned Mike for an estimate after receiving a flyer at my door. I knew I needed tuckpointing on my almost 100 year old house. He came the next day at the agreed upon time and gave me a fair price. The job was done to my great satisfaction within the next few days.

I contacted Mike and I was surprise at his prompt response back. He came out to review the job that I wanted done and provided me with a quote. After talking with a few companies; found Mikes quote was on par with the industry, so I did not bother with getting other quotes. I chose Mike to do the job and was not disappointed. I am please with the job that he did; color matching 60 year old mortar. Mike is very clean and takes pride in the work he does. He did what was agreed upon and went above and did extra.
