Ravines Seniors’ Suites & Retirement Residence

I have been to three retirement homes and for me the quality of life at The Ravines is high. I like using the pool, the gym, the exercises are fantastic, and the dining room is neat and clean. I would recommend living here to anyone.

My mother resided at the Ravines Senior Suites for three years from 2017-2020. This retirement residence in my opinion is by far one of the best facilities in the province and Ottawa Region. The Managing Director Haisam Souchi is extremely competent in his proactive approach in managing all aspects of the facility as has clearly been demonstrated in his approach for the protection of the residents since the pandemic began. This is one of the few residences that has not had a Covid outbreak. The residence has a multitude of services and activities for those residing there some of which are: a wide variety of meal choices in the formal dining area, there is a bistro/coffee bar, there are several activity rooms, a pool, a sauna, a hot tub, exercise rooms, a chapel, a movie theatre, outdoor walking paths, shuttle service, underground parking and ample visitor parking. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this residence.

My mother has been a resident at the Ravines on the 2nd floor for the past 7 years. She suffers from Dementia. Her care has been excellent. The management has been responsive and kind. PSW's Sandra, Patrick and Steve are an asset to their profession.

My mother who had dementia stayed here and received wonderful care. This is a clean and attractive place and the staff are very caring. Free parking and friendly staff.

My husband and I moved into the Ravines II on January 1, 2019. Melissa gave us a wonderful tour of the building late in the fall. We had looked at several residences before the Ravines and after our tour was over we were exceedingly happy to sign on the dotted line. The staff here are wonderful. The residents are happy, friendly and motivated. There are many things to occupy one's time - the pool and hot tub, an attached room with all the exercise equipment one would need and several types of chair or standing exercises given by professional teachers. There are frequent outings on the bus and the food at the Ravines is excellent. We have been very happy with our choice of residence and the extremely friendly and professional atmosphere. We very highly recommend this senior's residence.
