I contacted Mizzen at the beginning of the week. The receptionist was very welcoming and clearly answered my questions. Without hesitation, she planned a meeting the same week (despite their busy schedule) considering my urgent consultation. Mr Ippolito, the engineer in my case, is a very good professional and patient. He took the time to talk, listen, analyze and advise in depth. Moreover, it would be ready to move if any unforeseen or doubt during construction. I really appreciate to have received this kind of service. Immediately following our meeting in less than 24 hours, I received an email with my specific plan in question. I am very satisfied with the service and recommend the Mizzen company.

We were given the contact of Sergio, a structural engineer at Artimon, by our architect. Sergio was great - he wanted to make sure we really needed a visit, so that we were not to waste our money on something that was unnecessary. When he did come, he did a really thorough job, and offered lots of information. He is continuing to help us out by answering any follow up questions over email, and gives lots of detail - not just one sentence answers! It was money well spent.

Sergio Ippolito was recommended to us by a renowned firm that was only a salesman. We had a 31 units year 1977. We did business with him. The communication was excellent, he gave us explanations of its functioning before the visit. Example; the first visit is for an inspection with report delivery 1 to 2 pages, photos and diagnosis. The day before the meeting, he called me personally to discuss the plans and the next day's proceedings, which I appreciated. During the inspection, the co-owners were listened to, he took the time to answer each and propose temporary solutions that reassured the co-owners. I personally felt that he was caring and meticulous in his inspection. Before he leaves, we have a verbal and approximate estimate of the costs of the construction work, as well as several company references who have the expertise to concretize the works he plans. We received urgent recommendations within 3 days and the full report of the inspection within 15 days. Now we are going to have the engineering plans done for the construction, we know the diagnosis and we have secured what has to be secured. In response to the comment above on fees, it is clear that the fees are tailored to the expertise and complexity of the project. On our side it is in the market prices and it has given us a good service. I suggest you ask in advance a price for engineering plan. Finally, I recommend the services of Mr. Ippolito.
