Great place to find tropical plants, healthy and new arrivals almost every week! There's always something new to see. Overall beautiful and huge nursery.

I have no complaints about the apple tree I bought or the variety of plants they have in stock or their service, and the adjoining café is very charming. However while I was there, I discovered birds who had died from hitting the greenhouse glass. (Finding them isn’t the problem. I prefer seeing and knowing the truth.) I expect a business that is nature-friendly to recognize they have a problem and undergo the work it takes to prevent this from happening. Glass buildings and windows kill birds, especially where the birds are known to fly - in migration corridors and places that still have countryside and nature around. There are ways to retrofit glass to prevent this from happening, and there’s a business even here in Montreal (La Verrerie Walker) that specializes in bird-proof/bird-friendly glass. I hope that this greenhouse and ALL greenhouses convert over.

Beautiful, colourful, quality, diverse flowers and plants; smiling, helpful, professional, efficient staff (hats off to Isabelle!). A delight to spend some time at Pépinière Locas. It makes you realize your garden will never be big enough. Thank you! Don't be scared by the line up: you have to wash your hands before entering.... :-)
