It's been an amazing experience working with Serge. Serge has helped us get 2 of our houses and it's been great. He took time to understand what we needed and never rushed or pushed us into taking a decision. He always said that there would be something else for us out there if we didn't like it or if we didn't get it. He is professional and clearly knowledgeable about the market. He has been spot on with respect to pricing and valuation. He would clearly and sincerely tell us all the pros and cons of the houses that we had shortlisted. Serge took us around for weeks for viewings and very patiently would give his honest thoughts about the house. After weeks of viewing we liked a house and he suggested us to write a letter to the sellers and that's what helped us get the house. We trust him with his advise and would absolutely recommend him to our friends and family!

Serge then called the agent who had recently sold a unit a few doors down in order to give unsuccessful bidders a chance to bid on ours. Within a day, we had three showings resulting in three bids before the house even hit the market! We were floored by one offer in particular which was above our asking price and we took it! The best part? No need to keep the house in showing condition for a week! Thanks Serge - we seriously couldn’t have done it without you. Our daughter still mentions that her friend Serge found us our new house.

My husband and I could not speak more highly of Serge Papineau. We approached Serge on the recommendation of a friend to assist us in buying our first non-new build home and selling our current home. At the beginning, we were quite apprehensive about how hot the Ottawa real estate market was and how the Covid-19 pandemic would affecting the buying/selling process. Have no fear, Serge’s knowledge, experience and good-natured character made the process incredibly smooth! He was able to provide us realistic expectations on housing values and indications of when characteristics of a house mat or may not cause us trouble down the line. He facilitated lining up all of the required services for preparing our house for the market (e.g., home pre-inspection, stager, photographer) with very little work on our part. Further, with the ongoing pandemic, Serge took steps to minimize any health risks to us as homeowners and potential buyers. This was very much appreciated! Offer-day was essentially stress free. Serge gathered up all the offers and walked us through them. He was able to give us his professional opinion on the pros and cons of each offer and we were able to make an informed decision that we were comfortable with. We sold above asking and that was due to some skilled negotiation on Serge’s behalf! On the whole, we will be recommending Serge to our friends and family and, should we ever want to move again, we know who to call!
