Derek was great. He knew exactly what the issue was and even tried to save us money by getting us to contact Hydro Ottawa first. They came by and checked things out, told us it was an issue on our end. Derek came by and showed us exactly what the issue was. Turns it it was still a Hydro Ottawa issue. He didn't have to do much but I'd hire him again!

We were very impressed with service we received from Faulkner Electric! We had a long list of items to be repaired and installed, including new under-cabinet kitchen lighting, repairing switches, installing new fixtures and bringing things up to code. Everyone we dealt with (on the phone, via email and in-person) were very professional and a pleasure to work with. We were amazed at how efficiently Ryan worked in the few hours he had in our home! He was courteous and vigilant with regards to the pandemic. And we are very happy with each solution that helped us with. The shopping list they gave us for the cabinet lighting was so helpful and saved us all that time of researching ourselves. Thank you! We hired Faulkner Electric to move our dining room light fixture, which required a new electrical box and wires. From the outset, Derek was highly responsive and professional in providing an estimate and scheduling the work. Ryan was the electrician that completed the job and he was highly efficient, clean and managed to avoid drilling holes in our ceiling. We are highly satisfied by the work and felt the cost was reasonable! We wouldn’t hesitate to contact Faulkner again for future electrical needs. Thank you guys!

My dryer was shorting out inside the junction box, the outlet and plug were melting. I called Faulkner at 830 and explained I had a one hour job and I would take a short notice booking. They called at 11:20 and said they were on their way. 20 minutes later an electrician arrived and in under an hour the outlet was replaced. The electrician was nice, his work was quick and quality, and I am happy with the experience. I would definitely call Faulkner again. Fast, quality and a fair price. Highly recommend. BTW I am still waiting for the appliance repair person - for the plug - and the other electrician to call back, so this was quality service compared to the average.Thank you

I had an electrician replace two baseboard heaters with new ones. A 4' long heater was replaced in the living room to allow for better placement of furniture. The shorter 18'' heater is at the end of the couch allowing the couch to be placed against the wall. A kickplate heater under a kitchen cabinet replaced the heater that was under a window when the sink was moved into a new bump out addition that was built into the old window opening space to fit a sink below and a picture window and awning window above leaving no room for a baseboard heater. At the recommendation of the electrician I had three thermostats replaced with new ones. The old thermostats could not maintain a comfortable temperature in the living room or bathroom. The advice was excellent and now I have a much more comfortable home with even heat. One outlet was moved that was in the way of the living room baseboard heater, and another outlet was replaced because it was worn out to to the point that cords for electronics would not stay in the outlet. I recommend the electrician that Faulkner sent to provide services. He was knowledgeable, competent and efficient. The cost for my electrical services was about $500, which I felt was reasonable for several hours of installation work plus three thermostats and one outlet.
