Treating them with great respect and providing to their needs, Jennifer gives them everything for people to make an informative decision. As a local realtor, I can say Chartwell Emerald Hills Retirement Residence is definitely worth looking into if you're considering a new chapter in your life.

I would like to pass on a huge thank you to all those who made my mother's move to Emerald Hills so easy. Roisin (General Manager) spent a considerable amount of time during our very first visit showing my mother and I various suites. She was very kind to do that, especially in her position. Therese (Retirement Living Consultant) extended a great deal of time over many days with us, showing the suites and answering a myriad of questions. Her patience was admired when dealing with the little (but very important) things.Her pleasant demeanour, knowledge and helpfulness through the whole process was/is greatly appreciated. I would like to recognize the wonderful staff at Emerald Hills. They are all great ambassadors for the facility and everyone we have met and spent time with were very welcoming. Of note are Tina and Lauryn (very pleasant), Nora (caring and engaging), Gordon (happy and helpful), Kimberley (takes responsibility for ensuring a safe environment very seriously which is appreciated). And of course those who deliver meals, all very respectful.

This facility is awesome! Staff there are extremely friendly, competent , and compassionate. We placed a dear friend of ours with Dimentia at Emerald Hills and were amazed at how caring the staff was. In addition to great food, the facility is modern, clean and well run....highly recommended!

Incredibly caring and thoughtful staff across all departments. Everyone is at the residence goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are safe, and that loved ones can stay connected. The facility is modern, spacious and purpose-built for the needs of its residents. Highly recommended.

My Mom mentioned a plant she had in her room that I ''just had to see'' because it was blooming so nicely. She made this comment multiple times over the week. As a result, I perceived it was important to her that I see it. I called reception and asked them if they could make arrangements to bring mom and ''the plant'' down to the lobby for 2pm at which time I would remain on the other side of the glass doors and admire her plant. When I got there the staff had mom and the infamous plant waiting. Mom got so excited she ''burst'' (as best a 93 year-old woman can) through the doors to show me. I and the staff were in a minor panic because we knew the visit was to be on opposite sides of the glass. I sent my husband running for the masks that were just outside in the car. The staff were very sensitive to the situation, saw Mom's delight and chose not to pull her back inside but let us continue our visit standing apart in the front entryway with my husband and I wearing masks. Knowing mom's endurance for standing would be short-lived; they let it go while keeping an eye on us to make sure we followed safe distancing rules. I very much appreciate their kindness to us so that Mom could celebrate her plant. It's these types of interactions and the staff's care that reassure me that Mom is in the best care possible under these circumstances.
