Last month, celebrations were in full swing at Waterside – A V!VA Retirement Community to recognize its 15-year milestone of Happier Here™ retirement living. Surrounded by beautiful decorations in the Victory Garden, guests enjoyed a wonderful selection of festive food, drinks and desserts prepared by Chef Bruce and the Culinary Team. Speeches from Carleton Place's Mayor, Toby Randell, long time Waterside Services Manager, Richard Stansel, and V!VA Home Office executives added to the importance of the event. Father’s Day

We looked for many months at several alternatives. We choose V!VA Mississauga. Why? We liked the size of the facility. Not to large, not to small. The dining weighed large in our decision. The highly experienced chef creates some amazing menus. The flexibility of menu choice was also a large factor for us. The management and staff at V!SA Mississauga from the General Manager to Housekeeping are a delight and do everything they can to make our day to day living pleasant. I have described our living as having a state room on a luxury liner that never leaves the dock.

I stayed here for two weeks following a major surgery. The staff are superb in remembering your name and very quickly understanding your needs. They are very friendly and efficient and respond to concerns almost instantaneously. The ambience and cleanliness of the facility is very welcoming. The restaurant (on site dining room) provides excellent servers, quick, hot food service and ample choices for picky eaters like me. The food is definitely worthy of a five star rating I was there during the Christmas season and the specialty Christmas menu was excellently prepared, ample portions and choices and served with pride. I would highly recommend this facility for temporary or long term situations.
