Sturgeon Creek Retirement Residence

My mother has been living there happily for 5 1|2 years, she has nothing but positives to express her feelings about location, food, activities, and staffing. We are happy to have chosen # 1 as it is smaller than most homes in Winnipeg and therefore we feel better service and easier to know all your friends and neighbours. Brenda V

My mom loved her experience living here and really enjoyed the meals. I only wish she had been there longer to enjoy life without Covid restrictions. She so looked forward to it. Our family appreciated how the staff and management did everything to keep the residents safe and healthy.

I’ve worked at Sturgeon 1 for over 3 years now and every day I am proud to come into a building that cares so well for our seniors. We put extreme care into the quality of our meals and activities and overall care, and there are amazing relationships formed between staff and residents. It is an honour and a privilege to work here with such fantastic people. 😁

Sturgeon creek staff have been taking care of my grandma and her dog for 4 years now, it’s been nothing but great care and they always look out for her. Through COVID-19 they have gone above and beyond to ensure the residents stay safe and engaged. The food and serving staff are great, especially at family events. There’s always a lot of options for entertainment when life allows for that. There’s so many great things about each department at Sturgeon, they welcome your family members with open arms and treat them like their own. Keep up the great work! Sturgeon staff!

A wonderful retirement residence with all the best comforts of home. Delicious daily meals, friendly staff and they all go above and beyond in knowing all they can about their residents. Mom tells me everyday how much she loves it there and especially her southwest balcony for her flowers in the summer. She has made so many new friends!!!!
