I have not dealt with this company before, but I work in the trade. If you do not want them to charge travel time to look at your freezer maybe you should drive it over to there shop like you would your car... Just a thought:)

Owner is one of the greatest guys you will ever meet....makes me feel like family when he's around....I work here....He tells it like it is....very straight forward

my experience maybe be isolated but I found my interaction to be not professional. Don t seem to have a grasp on the reality of the new world, where if you deal unprofessionally with someone they have the ability to share that with others. Businesses should strive to solve problems in a professional economical way, when they don't and customers find out then you ride the slippery slope to trouble or failure in business world.

I have been using Can. Refrigeration for over 10 years. I do not think i have ever had to call them back to check their work. They show up when promised. They don't leave messes. They are professional and friendly. They know all refrigeration products better then anyone i have used so far, including our really old obsolete units. Their prices are fair and consistent with other vendors. Once in a while i will buy complete upright freezers etc from them and i do see that they charge a slightly more then some vendors in Vancouver but it comes with a 5 year warranty while my other vendors only provide a 3 year warranty at the very most, and warranty service calls from bigger companies like Hendrix is like trying to get North Korea to host a pride parade.... Anytime i do require warranty service they still treat me like it was a normal service call and i almost always get someone the same day, or sooner if i ask for it. Overall i have no serious concerns with Canadian Refrigeration and i would recommend them to anyone. In regards to peoples comments on travel charges - this is normal, in-fact if you dont think you're paying for travel time with other companies think again, that cost will be included in things like parts or service rates, nobody travels for free, would you??
