We used Builtex's services when we renovated our home. Given that the house had been built in 1947 we had to make sure we were going to be able to open up the living area, as well as be earthquake safe. I have no doubt that, should the big one hit the Vancouver area that our house will still be standing and able to provide us with some sort of shelter as we have reinforced walls, a lovely beam, and everything is supported properly. In a desperate attempt to find an Engineer late Friday afternoon, and after calling several, Mr. Khorram from Builtex saved me! I needed a fast engineering report for my strata and within a day I had one. It was literally an incredible process with fast, reasonable price and really knowledgeable nice fellow. He was able to address my concerns, explain every thing to me in easy to understand terms, took some pictures, notes, and measurements....and then he thought for a few minutes in silence. I found Builtex via google, which was a pretty big leap of faith, and it turned out excellently. We did a kitchen renovation in a ground floor unit of a 1970's building, including the removal of three walls and the shifting of another wall. Pedram was wonderful to work with, drawings came back to us in quite quickly and he had excellent communication with our contractor to get us the best layout for the space.
