Dunbar Masonry and Construction

We live in a 40 year old townhouse complex. Dunbar has been here rejuvenating and repairing all 100 entranceways and chimneys. Work is carefully done, no corners cut, and looks soooo much better. All staff have been polite, diligent, and hard-working. We are seeking a quote for our private patio due to the confidence we now have.

Had an ugly project downtown Vancouver, doing a fire-wall and repairs on an old building; poor work conditions, confined space, bad access. Called several contractors, some walked away upon viewing site, not interested there's easier projects available, some quoted '' ugly price for an ugly job'' I don't blame them, I get it. Called Bob at Dunbar Masonry. He came out looked at project and gave me a fair price considering the situation. He figured it would take 5 days I thought longer, did it in 4 days. Mason's that did the work, had a great attitude given the poor conditions. Passed inspections; I would definitely hire them again.

Maybe the 2nd review I have EVER written about a company but well deserved! 5 star customer service and 5 star work. If you need chimney repairs done you would be making a mistake by not hiring Dunbar Masonry. I first spoke with both Bobby and then Kyle in the residential division for chimney repairs. Super nice guys who explained in detail what had to be done and once the work was completed they explained what had been done and how it would resolve my issue. Crew showed up first thing in the morning and were done by mid afternoon. These days there is nothing like people who actually show up when they say they are going to show up! Really gave me great piece of mind. I had someone previously come by (another company) and put on a chimney cap on one of my pots when they shouldn't have, causing smoke to enter my living room when I was having a fire, as I have a wood burning fireplace. Kyle new exactly why this was happening. Kyle doing me a favour by having someone come by to remove it. Great service, thanks guys!
