I overall liked my experience with JM Air. The quote and scheduling was very professional and smooth. They called the day before to confirm the time. The price was comparable to other quotes I received and they were the only ones to actually provide a document with the quote (other places gave me vague emails or phone-calls) The installation was very fast on the day of and they were very clear with what they were doing. However, given that Montreal is still in the midst of a pandemic, it was very frustrating that 1 of the 2 people installing the AC tried to come in my home without a mask - even I was wearing a mask. I provided a disposable mask that I had, and he promptly ''lost it'' and kept coming in my (very small condo) without it even though I repeatedly asked him to wear it inside. Frustrating that he lost the mask that I provided, given masks are in short supply and he should be showing up to a site with a mask of his own. As well, I asked them to close my back door if they saw my neighbors smoking - - and the man working outside not only failed to close my door but actually lit-up mid-job near my open back door, and I could smell the cigarette smoke through my cloth face mask. The other worker kept his mask on pretty much all the time and was very understanding about my desire to follow health-guidelines about distance. These are perhaps things I would be less bothered by if it wasn't a Pandemic, thus the 4-stars.
