I really like the HSBC InvestDirect website overhaul months ago. It pretty much meets my needs and I like the overall website design. As a young investor I have compared many of the brokerages and I think HSBC InvestDirect is one of the most underrated. I think the price per stock is reasonable when compared to the other banks in Canada. I like the overall banking package benefits as they convince me to have more of my services with HSBC such as investing, banking and credit.

They are responsive, here is why im rating it 3/5. It losses 1 star for not having a mobile application. It's 2020 and I have to do my trades on the desktop version? that seems crazy. Losses another star for not having USD Registered accounts. I.e. Buying US stocks has to go through FX everytime. But the commissions are cheap @ $6.88/ trade.
